We are proud to announce that we have been selected to receive Press Credentials to attend the National Conference for Media Reform in Minneapolis, June 6-8. Sponsored by Free Press, a national organization dedicated to reform in today’s media, the conference will feature such notables as Bill Moyers, Dan Rather, Amy Goodman, Arianna Huffington, Juan Gonzalez, Naomi Klein, Lawrence Lessig, and Van Jones.

Also scheduled to attend are FCC Commissioners Michael Copps and Jonathan Adelstein, as well as media specialists Jane Hamsher, Duncan Black, Matt Stoller, Christy Hardin-Smith, Cenk Uygur, Baratunde Thurston and Gina Cooper.

Interactive workshops on media ownership, media literacy, independent media, civil rights and media, and grassroots media activity are among the scheduled events.

Purpose of the national conference is to bring together those who understand the importance of media and the need for media reform.

We will report on the conference and its conclusions in upcoming issues.
